Shipping: a flat ¥1,000 anywhere in Japan (¥1,500 to Hokkaido, ¥1,800 to Okinawa)

Credit card (Visa / Mastercard / American Express / JCB) / PAY ID deferred payment (convenience store or bank account transfer) / bank transfer

Payment timing

Credit cards are charged when you order. PAY ID deferred payment is due by the 10th of the month after billing (fee: ¥350 at a convenience store, free by account transfer). Bank transfers are due within 5 business days of billing (fee: ¥360). All amounts include tax

Delivery

Confitures: our first batch is made to order and will be ready in November. Orders are delivered in the order they were reserved, by 30 November 2026
Masu: ships in November 2026

Returns and exchanges

For both the confitures (food) and the masu, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons of customer preference. This applies whether or not the item has been opened, including reasons such as “not what I expected” or “not to my taste”.

Only if the item arrives damaged, defective or is not what you ordered, please contact contact@kachiu.jp within 8 days of delivery. We will exchange it for the same item or refund you, and cover the shipping cost. We may ask for photographs to confirm the situation.

We cannot respond to requests made more than 8 days after delivery.

Cancellations and changes

Once an order is complete, we cannot accept cancellations or changes to its contents, such as quantity or delivery address.

Receiving your order

If an item is returned to us because of a long absence, an incomplete address or refusal of delivery, the shipping and handling costs of sending it again are borne by the customer.
