KACHIU is a brand from Isawa, in Fuefuki, Yamanashi. Our first collection: confitures made with peaches grown in Fuefuki, and hinoki masu cups branded with a cormorant.
One jar celebrates the peach itself; two more pair it with Koshu wine and with Muscat Bailey A wine. A fine choice if you are looking for a jam to bring home from Yamanashi.

You can buy a single jar. Peach is 150 g for ¥1,800; the two with wine are 150 g for ¥2,200 each (tax incl.). The three-bottle set is ¥6,200, and the gift set, with a ¥1,000 gift box, is ¥7,200 (tax incl.).

The name KACHIU (kachiu) comes from “walking cormorant fishing”, in which the cormorant master walks through the river with the birds. A portion of sales from every product goes toward carrying on this cormorant fishing culture.

How do you eat confiture?
Enjoy it with bread or yoghurt. We also suggest pairing the Koshu wine confiture with bloomy-rind cheeses, and the red wine confiture with meat dishes or a glass of red wine.
Can we ask about corporate gifts?
We are happy to help with corporate gifts, commemoratives and seasonal greetings. Quantities, presentation, delivery dates and quotations are arranged individually.
For businessesDo you have souvenirs other than food?
We offer a one-gō hinoki masu. It is a vessel of good fortune, named for the kachi-u, the “winning cormorant”, and comes in two designs branded with a cormorant: the KACHIU Masu and the I ♡ U Masu. ¥2,000 each (tax incl.).
